Galata Wind Makes Its First International Investment in Germany
Galata Wind is set to launch the construction of a 22 MW Solar Power Plant in southern Germany, incorporating an Agri-PV (Agricultural Solar Power Plant) and a Battery Storage Unit.
Committed to becoming a global player in renewable energy, Galata Wind has taken the first major step in its international investment strategy. The company announced that Galata Wind Energy Global B.V., its wholly owned subsidiary, established to coordinate renewable energy investments abroad and implement investment strategies, has made its first move within its project development activities in Europe.
As part of this initiative, SunSpark GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Galata Wind Energy Global B.V., which operates in Germany, has successfully completed the due diligence process and finalized the transfer process for the 22 MW Solar Power Plant project.
The solar power plant, set to be developed in southern Germany, has been planned to include an Agricultural Solar Power Plant (Agri-PV) and a Battery Storage Unit. Following the completion of the transfer process, the company aims to finalize the ongoing permitting procedures within a short period and ensure that the power plant is ready for construction.
Commenting on this significant milestone in Galata Wind’s European project development activities, CEO Burak Kuyan stated:
"We are delighted that this project will contribute significantly to our vision of achieving 300 MW of international capacity between 2025 and 2027, as well as to our broader goal of becoming a global player in the renewable energy sector.
